US President Donald Trump has sparked fury after posting a map that seemingly showed Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Mexico, and the Caribbean as part of the United States, prompting Iceland to summon the US Ambassador over the "wholly inappropriate" image, news agency AFP reported.

The post on Monday was the latest in a series of images shared by Trump featuring outlandish territorial designs. It came amid a flurry of around 100 messages on his Truth Social platform over the Labor Day weekend.
