A Johns Hopkins Medicine study found that time-restricted eating helped adults with obesity and prediabetes lose weight and improve eating habits without reducing calories.

Participants following a 10-hour eating window lost a median of 2.7 per cent of their body weight over 12 weeks, comparable to those on a 16-hour schedule.
