A Japanese company has launched a Rs 8.8 lakh human refrigerator that cools users to 5 degrees Celsius in 10 minutes to combat extreme heat. The odd news roundup also features self-dressing robotic clothes, acupuncture needles left in a patient's leg, and a bizarre toilet-seat drinking contest in Russia

Would you willingly shut yourself in this box to cool down for 10 minutes?
Who hasn’t daydreamed about climbing into the refrigerator on a hot summer day? A Japanese company, SDRS, has created a human refrigerator and advertised it as a personal cooling cabinet as an answer to increasing heat strokes in the brutal Japanese summer, as temperatures climb past 40° Celsius. This metal contraption, named Do Hiemon Box, has a transparent glass door, a built-in seat, and a cool air blower.
All you have to do is open it, sit, and willingly shut yourself in the box and try to chill out in the 5°C air. Life-saver or horror movie in the making?
