Indian envoy holds bilateral talks with 12 Members of US House of Representatives

Indian Ambassador Vinay Mohan Kwatra hosted 12 US House members at India House to deepen India-US ties, with talks on trade, technology, defence and security cooperation. He highlighted India’s over 7 percent growth outlook and also met Senator Steve Daines to discuss strengthening the bilateral partnership

Indian Ambassador to the United States Vinay Mohan Kwatra on Thursday hosted 12 Members of the US House of Representatives at India House, holding discussions on strengthening the India-US partnership across trade, technology, defence and security cooperation.

Calling it “a special evening at India House,” Kwatra said he welcomed the “consistent, bipartisan support in the US Congress for the deepening India-US partnership.” The interaction covered wide-ranging areas including trade and economic ties, cutting-edge technology and innovation, robust defence cooperation and counterterrorism efforts.
