Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal urged BRICS nations to translate shared aspirations into practical innovation and cooperation by leveraging their complementary strengths to build resilient industries through the BRICS Partnership on New Industrial Revolution (PartNIR).

Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Jitin Prasada reiterated India's commitment to strengthening industrial partnerships, highlighting cooperation, innovation and mutual trust as key pillars for an inclusive industrial future.

Goyal traced BRICS' journey since its inaugural summit in 2009, praised Brazil's leadership in 2025 and said India would advance the group's agenda with a pragmatic and proactive approach during its chairship.

India's chairship saw progress under PartNIR with the finalisation of an MSME cooperation framework, adoption of an action plan for the photovoltaic industry working group and an innovation-led growth strategy for startups.
