West Bengal Elections 2026: EC announces candidate list; over 2,900 candidates in fray for high-stake polls

To assist voters, Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) will display coloured photographs of candidates along with their names, serial numbers and party symbols, making identification easier at polling stations, the ECI said
