A court here has sentenced a 60-year-old man to life imprisonment for <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-crime-news/article/mumbai-high-court-dismisses-mans-appeal-in-minor-daughters-rape-case-upholds-life-sentence-23620055" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">raping his minor daughter </a>in April, police said on Tuesday.
The 15-year-old girl was sleeping at her home in a village in the district when her father raped her in an inebriated state.
Special Judge (POCSO Act) Pratham Kant convicted the accused on Monday and fined him Rs 50,000, Superintendent of Police Omveer Singh said.&nbsp;

A special POCSO court in Uttar Pradesh has sentenced a 60-year-old man to life imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 50,000 for raping his 15-year-old daughter. The court convicted the accused after finding him guilty of sexually assaulting the minor while she was asleep at their home
