Maharashtra Legislative Council member and former minister Bachchu Kadu has called on the two rival Shiv Sena factions to consider reuniting, saying such a move would strengthen the party and benefit Maharashtra, reported the PTI.

Speaking to reporters on Saturday, Kadu made the appeal a day after both the Shiv Sena and the Shiv Sena (UBT) marked the party's 60th foundation day separately.
