Three &ldquo;<a href="https://www.mid-day.com/news/india-news/photo/in-photos-kanwariyas-undertake-sacred-journey-during-the-annual-kanwar-yatra-112357/6" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">kanwariyas</a>&rdquo; were killed, while another was seriously injured after a car hit them on the Sirhind GT Road here early Sunday, police said.
The incident occurred when a group of kanwariyas (devotees of Lord Shiva) were returning to Kotkapura in Punjab&rsquo;s Faridkot district.&nbsp;
The deceased were identified as Mahinder Pal alias Gagan, 43, Deepak Kumar, 42, a resident of <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/news/india-news/article/punjab-town-tense-after-desecration-of-holy-book-16607193" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Kotkapura</a>, and Jagdish Mittal, 40.&nbsp;
