Former Bihar minister Tej Pratap Yadav was on Sunday sent to jail for trying to enforce the state-wide bandh called a day ago by students’ unions over the NEET paper leak, his lawyer claimed.

The FIR against Tej Pratap Yadav was registered on July 26, while the arrest was made around 7.30 pm on July 25 evening from a mall in Patna. He was produced before the judicial magistrate court around 12.15 am on Sunday, which sent him to judicial custody.
