Punjab floods: Schools and colleges shut till September 7, CM Mann announces relief measures

The situation in the state has become extremely concerning. In view of the ongoing flood situation in Punjab, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has announced that all schools and colleges will remain closed until 7th September.

After intense spells of rain in Punjab region, the situation in the state has become extremely concerning. In view of the ongoing flood situation in Punjab, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has announced that all schools and colleges will remain closed until 7th September.

While taking note of the concerning situation in Punjab, the Punjab Education Minister, Harjot Singh Bains, on Wednesday shared a post on X stating the directive and urged everyone to strictly follow the local administration's guidelines.
