Pune Metro Line 3 Phase 1 to open for public by mid-July, says PMRDA

PMRDA Metropolitan Commissioner Dr Abhijit Chaudhari said that the full corridor is expected to become operational by December 2026. Improved pedestrian access and wider footpaths are also being developed around the first seven stations

The first phase of the much-awaited Pune Metro Line 3 between Maan-Hinjawadi and Baner (Ramnagar) is in its final stage of completion and is scheduled to be opened for public by mid-July, officials said.

They said that the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) was focusing on infrastructure development, traffic management and administrative transparency to improve governance and urban planning across the region.
