A crane collapsed onto an electricity transformer and overhead lines near Jyotiba Temple in Talwade, Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), disrupting power supply to over 8600 consumers and raising safety concerns. The area houses several manufacturing units and the Talwade IT Park.

The crane hit a 22 kV line linked to the Devi Indrayani Switching Station, bringing down a transformer and multiple poles, and affecting Dehugaon and Talwade feeders. Officials said nearly 1910 industrial units and 6700 homes faced outages, halting operations in the industrial belt.
