Just a few hours after the start of day 4 of the Monsoon session of the Parliament, Lok Sabha proceedings were adjourned till 2 pm. The lower house of the Parliament was adjourned till 2:00 pm on Thursday following the opposition’s protests over the revision of electoral rolls in Bihar.

This is the fourth consecutive day that the Question Hour of the Parliament has been disrupted since the start of the Monsoon Session of Parliament. With the heated debate on various topics going on in the upper house and the lower house of the Parliament continuing to grow on Thursday, smooth proceedings are yet to be observed.

As soon as the House met for the day, various Opposition members wanted to raise the issue of the revision of electoral rolls in Bihar and also shouted slogans, which clearly disrupted the proceedings of the House.
