In a series of disturbing events, the United States has witnessed yet another tragic incident involving Indian students. A doctoral candidate, Sameer Kamath, was found dead at Purdue University in Indiana, while in a separate incident, Syed Mazahir Ali, an IT student, endured a brutal assault near his Chicago residence.

These occurrences mark the sixth such incident in the US in 2024 alone.
