Nagpur rape case: Police seize eight knives, laptop from accused’s Thane home

Nagpur police investigating the alleged sexual assault and torture of a 16-year-old girl have seized eight knives, choppers, other sharp weapons, a laptop and a large quantity of contraceptives from the residence of the accused in Maharashtra's Thane district, an official said on Saturday.
A team from the Hudkeshwar police station conducted a search at the house of 19-year-old Nirmay Madhav Pakhare on Friday. The seized items have been sent for forensic examination as investigators work to gather further evidence in the case.
