MEA thanks several countries for warm wishes on I-Day, looks forward to strengthening ties

Ministry of External Affairs thanked Russia, Somalia, Romania, Slovenia, Albania and Paraguay for their greetings on India’s 80th Independence Day. The MEA said India remains committed to strengthening bilateral partnerships, trade, investment and cooperation with the countries

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Saturday thanked the Foreign Ministries of several nations for their warm wishes, emphasising expanding ties further with the nations. 

The Ministry thanked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Russia, which said that the two countries "are bound by ties of special privileged strategic partnership".
