Marathwada rains: Ajit Pawar-led NCP to donate one month’s salary towards flood relief

Ministers, legislators, and MPs from the Ajit Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) will donate one month’s salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to support flood relief in the rain-affected regions of Maharashtra, the party announced on Wednesday.
The decision comes in the wake of widespread devastation caused by heavy rains, particularly in the Marathwada region and parts of western Maharashtra, including Solapur district, where crops, livestock, homes, and businesses have suffered extensive damage.
