Maharashtra: 11 booked for urinating and beating 22-year-old man in Ahilyanagar

A 22-year-old Dalit man was kidnapped and brutally assaulted by 11 men in Maharashtra's Ahilyanagar. A group of 11 men hurled casteist abuse and urinated on him. Three accused have been arrested, and authorities are investigating under SC/ST atrocity laws and MCOCA

In a shocking scenario, a group of 11 persons allegedly kidnapped and brutally thrashed a 22-year-old man. After assaulting the 22-year-old, the group of men also urinated on him and abused him over his caste in Maharashtra's Ahilyanagar district, officials said on Friday.

As reported by news agency PTI, a case has been registered against the alleged attackers in connection with the incident on the evening of October 19. Three out of the 11 accused have been arrested so far, including the main suspect, the police officials said.
