Maharashtra Weather: Brahmapuri records 47.1 degrees Celsius; hottest in the state

Brahmapuri in Chandrapur district recorded the highest in Maharashtra at 47.1 degrees Celsius on Monday, reported PTI citing an official from the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

In addition to Brahmapuri, several places in the state's Vidarbha region experienced sweltering heat with maximum temperatures going beyong 40 degrees, IMD said.
