Maharashtra: Two children dead, three injured after bus collides at footpath in Pune's Hinjewadi

Two siblings, aged 6 and 8, were killed and three others injured after a bus driven by an allegedly drunk driver mounted a footpath in Pune’s Hinjewadi. The victims, including a younger sister, were returning from school when the accident occurred

In a horrific incident n Maharashtra's Pune, a 6-year-old boy and his 8-year-old sister were killed and three others, including the duo's younger sister, were injured after a bus climbed onto a footpath in Hinjewadi area on Monday evening.

A police official, while addressing the incident, said that the driver was allegedly drunk when the unfortunate accident happened. Furthermore, the police official from Hinjewadi Police Station also asserted that he has been arrested, as reported by news agency PTI.
