Pune airport gets 15 new flight slots; adds routes to Mangalore, Solapur and Bagdogra

Officials said that the expansion has been made possible due to the efforts of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, particularly the proactive approach of the Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Cooperation in enhancing airport capacity and connectivity

Pune airport in Maharashtra has received 15 additional flight slots, increasing its total capacity from 220 to 235. The move is expected to improve passenger handling and overall operational efficiency at the airport.

With the additional slots, new flight routes will be introduced connecting Pune to Mangalore, Solapur and Bagdogra.
