16-year-old detained in Maharashtra's Beed for sexually abusing child

The six-year-old girl was passing in front of the house of the accused when he lured her by offering fruit. The boy then took the girl on the first floor of his house and sexually abused her on Monday evening

A 16-year-old boy has been detained for allegedly sexually abusing a minor girl in Beed, a city in central Maharashtra, news agency PTI reported, quoting the police on Wednesday.

"The six-year-old girl was passing in front of the house of the accused when he lured her by offering fruit. The boy then took the girl on the first floor of his house and sexually abused her on Monday evening,” an officer said.
