Nashik Rural Police have detained nine individuals in connection with the alleged assault, molestation, and robbery of a tourist family at the Bhavali Dam waterfall in Igatpuri taluka of Maharashtra. A case has been registered under multiple serious provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, including dacoity, attempt to murder, outraging the modesty of a woman, damage to property, unlawful assembly, and other relevant sections.
