More than 1.65 lakh household Ganesh idols will be immersed in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on Friday on the occasion of Anant Chaturdashi, with authorities deploying over 2,500 personnel for crowd and traffic management, officials said.

The idols of 941 Ganesh mandals set up by community groups will also be taken for immersion, officials said, PTI reported.
