Five people were killed in a collision involving a car and a truck on the Mumbai-Nagpur Samruddhi Expressway in Maharashtra's Wardha district early Monday, after an ethanol-laden container truck overturned and blocked the carriageway, police said.
The accident occurred at around 3 am near Virul village, disrupting traffic and prompting authorities to divert vehicles on the affected stretch of the expressway.
