A Food and Drug Administration (FDA) officer in Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district was surrounded by an angry crowd and forced to eat expired biscuits during a confrontation over claims that he had accepted a bribe from a shopkeeper.

The incident, reportedly captured on video, followed a complaint about expired food products being sold at a local paan shop. Residents alleged that a two-year-old child had fallen ill and experienced dizziness after consuming savoury snack mix purchased from the outlet.
