Madhya Pradesh Congress on Tuesday termed the land scam in Ujjain as the “loot of Mahakal land,” demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and a judicial inquiry.

Congress president Jitu Patwari sought a probe by a sitting judge of the Supreme Court in the matter, asserting that the CM must clarify how his family’s land ownership allegedly swelled from 100 acres to 335 acres after he assumed power in December 2023.
