'Like getting my life back': Taslima Nasreen returns to Kolkata's Coffee House after 19 years

Exiled Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasreen returned to Kolkata's iconic College Street and Coffee House after 19 years, describing the emotional visit as "getting back my life". The celebrated literary landmarks have long been associated with the city's intellectual and cultural heritage.

Exiled Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasreen on Tuesday visited College Street and Coffee House, considered the hub of Kolkata’s cultural heritage, after nearly two decades, and described the experience as “getting back my life”.
Nasreen, who is on a visit to the city after a gap of 19 years, spent time at the Coffee House on College Street, one of the city’s best-known literary and cultural landmarks.
