Indian Coast Guard airlifts critically ill patient from Lakshadweep's Agatti Island to Kochi

The Indian Coast Guard carried out a swift medical evacuation from Agatti Island in Lakshadweep after receiving an urgent request to save a critically ill patient. An ICG Dornier aircraft was converted into a mobile ICU and flew the patient safely to Kochi for treatment

The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) on Monday carried out a swift and coordinated medical evacuation operation after they received an urgent medical evacuation request from the UT Lakshadweep administration to save the life of a critically ill patient from Agatti Island in the Lakshadweep Islands.
Considering the critical nature of the medical emergency, the Coast Guard immediately activated its emergency response mechanism.
