The<a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/mid-day-impact-two-mumbai-police-staffers-suspended-over-fake-police-ids-and-salary-fraud-involving-10-fictitious-personnel-23643107" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener"> Madhapur police</a> on Friday apprehended and booked Lingameneni Sanjush, 21, son of businessman and Janasena Party Rajya Sabha MP Lingameneni Ramesh, after an Aston Martin allegedly being driven at high speed hit a 26-year-old woman while she was crossing the road.&nbsp;

The incident occurred on August 16, police said. Police have identified the deceased as Bharati Mukhi, 26.&nbsp;
Police conducted drunk-driving and drug tests on the accused and collected his blood samples, which were sent to the <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-crime-news/article/mumbai-family-deaths-fsl-report-confirms-presence-of-rat-poison-ingredient-zinc-phosphide-in-viscera-watermelon-sample-say-cops-23629394" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Forensic Science Laboratory</a> (FSL) for examination. The vehicle involved in the accident was also seized.
