An official from the Home Guard department was caught allegedly demanding a bribe of Rs 30,000 from a jawan for recommending his reinstatement into service in Maharashtra's Nagpur, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) said on Tuesday, reported PTI.

Pradeep Vijay Nagpure, a zonal officer of Home Guard Zone-5, was taken into custody on Monday, an official said, reported PTI.
