Himachal Pradesh weather: IMD issues orange alert for heavy rainfall through August 11

Himachal Pradesh is set to experience intensified monsoon activity from Monday evening, with the IMD forecasting heavy to very heavy rainfall across several parts of the state through August 11.
Dharamshala records highest rainfall at 61 mm
According to ANI, Sandeep Kumar Sharma, Senior Scientist at IMD Himachal Pradesh, said light to moderate rainfall was recorded at several places over the past 24 hours. Dharamshala received the highest rainfall at 61 mm, followed by Arki in Solan at 25 mm, while Shimla city recorded around 40 mm.
