Nightclub fire: Delhi Court grants transit remand of Ajay Gupta to Goa Police

Delhi’s Saket Court has granted a 36-hour transit remand of Ajay Gupta to Goa Police in connection with the nightclub fire that killed 25 people. Gupta, who was arrested in Delhi, will be taken to Goa for further investigation. Meanwhile, two other accused have fled to Thailand as the probe intensifies

Delhi's Saket Court on Wednesday granted a 36-hour transit remand of Ajay Gupta to the Goa Police in the nightclub fire case, following his arrest. He will reportedly be taken to Goa for further investigation. 

Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (ACJM) Vinod Joshi, while granting Gupta's 36-hour transit remand, directed him to be produced before the court concerned at Goa, reported news agency ANI.
