The Pune district administration has imposed a complete ban on the use of laser lights during Ganesh Visarjan processions. District Collector Jitendra Dudi issued the order to ensure that the immersion processions are conducted peacefully.
The restriction will remain in force for processions scheduled between September 14 and September 25, including those held on the occasion of Anant Chaturdashi.
