Maharashtra Chief Minister (CM) Devendra Fadnavis on Monday launched the 'Satyamev Jayate Farmer Cup 2026', describing it as a statewide movement for agricultural transformation rather than merely a competition. He said the initiative aims to bring 50 lakh farmers under the group farming model in the coming years.
Speaking at the launch event held at his official residence, Varsha, in collaboration with the Paani Foundation, Fadnavis said the confidence generated among farmers through the initiative would lay the foundation for the state's agricultural transformation.
