Delhi Court remands Red Fort blast case accused Jasir Bilal Wani to 10-day NIA custody

The Central probe agency argued that Wani’s custodial interrogation was essential to uncover “the larger conspiracy” behind the November 10 Delhi Red Fort blast. NIA said the blast was intended “to strike terror and panic in the minds of people in the country as well as to threaten public order"

A special court at Delhi’s Patiala House on Tuesday remanded Jasir Bilal Wani, also known as Danish, to the National Investigation Agency’s (NIA) custody for 10 days in connection with the November 10 blast in the national capital, news agency ANI reported.

He was produced before the court amid heavy security arrangements earlier in the day.
