CJP yet to seek permission for Jantar Mantar protest, say Delhi Police; 1,000 personnel deployed

Delhi Police on Friday said it has not received any request for permission from the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) for its proposed protest at Jantar Mantar on Saturday, even as authorities have planned the deployment of more than 1,000 personnel across the national capital, news agency PTI reported.

"We will examine their request if and when they seek permission," a senior police officer said.
