Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Monday announced strict action following the collapse of a five-storey building in Satya Niketan, saying an FIR has been registered against the building owner and officials found guilty of negligence or oversight will face action.

Gupta also directed authorities to immediately seal buildings in Delhi that have a fifth floor and ordered intensive inspections of paying guest (PG) accommodations and other buildings in the area to prevent similar incidents.
