Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Wednesday claimed that there is no respect for Dalit citizens under the government at the Centre, be it an ordinary person or someone who holds a high position.

He was referring to a recent incident where a lawyer attempted to hurl a shoe towards Chief Justice of India BR Gavai in the Supreme Court and the alleged lynching of a man from the Valmiki community in Uttar Pradesh.
