Congress MP Pawan Khera on Monday criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the controversy surrounding a fish feast held during a welcome programme for Uttar Pradesh Congress chief Ajay Rai in Ayodhya. Khera alleged that the issue was being highlighted to shift attention away from matters such as paper leaks.

Reacting to the controversy, Khera questioned whether the discussion over the food served at the event could overshadow issues concerning the alleged theft of donations in Ayodhya and paper leaks.
