CJP Protest: "I was hit by a stone on my head", Delhi ACP recounts violence

Delhi ACP Jai Prakash said he suffered a minor head fracture after allegedly being hit by a stone during violent clashes at the NEET protest near Jantar Mantar. Delhi Police have registered an FIR and launched an investigation after two ACPs and several personnel were injured

Recounting the clashes at Jantar Mantar amid the ongoing protest over NEET exam irregularities at Sansad Marg, Delhi Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Jai Prakash said that he was injured after allegedly being hit by a stone on the forehead.
Recalling the ruckus that broke out during the protest, Jai Prakash while speaking to the media a day after the incident, said, "At around 4.30 pm, the crowd had swelled to 5000-6000 people. I was hit by a stone on my head. I was bleeding when my colleagues removed me from the protest site and rushed me to RML Hospital. There is a minor fracture on my head. Further treatment is underway."
