Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's statue unveiled in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara

The Maharashtra chief minister said the statue will always inspire the brave security forces

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Tuesday unveiled a statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Kupwara district in Jammu and Kashmir, reported news agency PTI.

The equestrian statue of the Maratha warrior king has been installed at the Army's 41 Rashtriya Rifles Maratha Light Infantry Regiment in the north Kashmir district which shares its border with Pakistan. Special prayers were held by a priest on the occasion, reported PTI.
