The Brij Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra concluded peacefully on Monday as it passed through Nuh amidst tight security arrangements, following damage to a mazar the previous night, reported news agency PTI.
In a unique display of devotion, faith, and social harmony, members of both Hindu and Muslim communities welcomed the procession at over 60 different points as the Yatra traversed the Nuh district.
Many Muslims who welcomed the procession stated that Mewat is widely recognised as a region embodying Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb—a composite culture—with some attributing the 2023 incident to "outside elements."
