In a very strange scenario in Bihar, a dog named "Dog Babu" in the Patna district has been issued a residence certificate. After the dog was issued a government identification, the incident sparked widespread criticism and raised questions about the security and credibility of the Right to Public Services (RTPS) portal.

The certificate, which has been surfacing across various social media platforms, lists 'Dog Babu' as a resident of Masaurhi, accompanied by a picture of a dog in the top right corner. The certificate also mentions his father’s name as ‘Kutta Babu’ and his mother as ‘Kutiya Devi.’

After several backlashes faced by the Bihar government over issuing a valid government ID proof to a dog, the residence certificate was cancelled on Monday.
