Prime Minister <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/news/india-news/article/bihar-election-results-2025-pm-modi-to-address-bjp-workers-following-nda-s-bihar-victory-23603208" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Narendra Modi</a> on Friday thanked Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and other NDA leaders, including Chirag Paswan, Jitan Ram Manjhi, and Upendra Kushwaha, for their contribution to the alliance&rsquo;s success.&nbsp;
He called alliance party leaders as 'family members'.
PM Modi called the NDA&rsquo;s victory in the Bihar Assembly elections a &ldquo;victory of good governance&rdquo; and a strong endorsement of development and public welfare.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister said the people of Bihar had given a resounding mandate, which would inspire the NDA to serve the state with &ldquo;new resolve&rdquo;. He added that the result was also a &ldquo;victory of social justice&rdquo; and showed the public&rsquo;s trust in the alliance&rsquo;s policies.
He also expressed gratitude to NDA workers across the state, praising them for working tirelessly, taking the development agenda to the people, and countering what he described as the Opposition&rsquo;s misinformation.

PM Modi said the NDA had ensured all-round development in <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/news/india-news/article/bihar-elections-2025-narendra-modi-nitish-kumar-pair-a-hit-in-bihar-polls-says-bjp-hails-ndas-performance-23603210" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Bihar</a>, and the massive mandate reflected people&rsquo;s confidence in the alliance&rsquo;s track record and its vision to take the state to new heights.
Meanwhile,&nbsp;BJP national president J. P. Nadda on Friday described the NDA&rsquo;s victory in the Bihar Assembly elections as &ldquo;historic&rdquo;, saying it reflected the people&rsquo;s trust in the development and welfare policies of the &ldquo;double-engine government&rdquo; led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
In a post on X, Nadda said the &ldquo;resounding majority&rdquo; secured by the NDA was clear evidence that the people of Bihar had fully rejected the Mahagathbandhan&rsquo;s &ldquo;jungle raj&rdquo; and corruption, and instead embraced the ruling coalition&rsquo;s focus on good governance, stability and development.
He added that the &ldquo;historic public support&rdquo; for the National Democratic Alliance was a strong endorsement of the development-driven agenda of the Modi&ndash;Kumar government.
Nadda further said the &ldquo;unprecedented mandate&rdquo; would help the NDA move forward with its commitment to making Bihar a developed state and India a developed nation.
The <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/news/india-news/article/bihar-elections-2025-game-played-through-sir-in-bihar-will-not-be-possible-again-says-sp-chief-akhilesh-yadav-23603202" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">NDA</a> appeared on course for a sweeping victory, leading in nearly 200 of the 243 seats, with the BJP emerging as the single largest party with an almost 95 per cent strike rate. Meanwhile, the Mahagathbandhan&mdash;comprising the RJD, Congress and three Left parties&mdash;was struggling to cross the 35-seat mark.
