Bihar boat tragedy: 13 children aged 15 and below die after boat capsizes in Vaishali

Thirteen children aged 15 and below died after a boat carrying around 20 children capsized in Bihar’s Vaishali district on Tuesday evening. Seven people were rescued, while SDRF teams and local divers continued search operations. PM Modi and Bihar CM Samrat Choudhary announced financial assistance

In a tragic incident, thirteen children aged 15 years or below died after a boat carrying them capsized in Bihar's Vaishali district on Tuesday evening, District Magistrate Varsha Singh said.

According to the District Magistrate, the incident occurred at around 8:30 PM when a boat carrying about 20 children, who were travelling to attend a feast in a neighbouring village, capsized.
