Bengaluru-Hyderabad private bus catches fire in Anantapur, all 37 passengers escape unhurt

All 37 people aboard a Bengaluru-Hyderabad private bus escaped unhurt after it caught fire near Miduturu village in Anantapur district in the early hours of Friday, police said. The fire broke out at around 2.50 am at the rear of the vehicle due to unknown causes.
A passenger seated at the back spotted the flames and alerted the driver, who stopped the bus, allowing all 33 passengers and four staff to get off safely before the fire engulfed the vehicle.
