The All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) has expelled corporator Meera Kamble after she supported the BJP’s candidate in the mayoral election of the Amravati Municipal Corporation in Maharashtra, reported the PTI.

Speaking to PTI, AIMIM leader Imtiaz Jaleel said the party had won 12 seats in the civic body elections and had taken a clear decision to remain neutral during the mayor and deputy mayor polls held on Friday.
