Heavy machinery, including a JCB, hydraulic lifter, Hydra crane, utility vehicles, dumpers and tempos, was deployed to remove the debris, officials said

Officials removed a fallen tree and most of the collapsed wall from the drain to restore the flow of water and reduce the risk of flooding

The collapse caused damage to two nearby vehicle service centres

Officials said the situation is under control and further repair work will continue until the damaged section of the wall is fully cleared and the drain is made safe

No evacuation was required, and there were no reports of injuries or loss of life, the officials said
